Le Café Bistro is a bistronomic restaurant that transports you into a friendly, rustic and happy atmosphere. All meals are lovingly homemade. The décor, inspired by the owner’s many travels, will make you feel completely elsewhere. The place was once the village forge, where the blacksmith left his energy. Numerous events are offered throughout the summer, from performances by local artists to conferences of all kinds. The large sunny terrace lets you enjoy nature while sipping a local beer or a mojito with mint from the garden. The village of St-Mathieu is a lively place and a good stopover on your visit to the National Park.

The Bistro’s snack wagon is right in the heart of the village. The canteen-style menu is varied and original. It includes a wide variety of dishes, as well as a Mexican menu, with tacos (8 flavors), burritos and churros. Several vegetarian options are available, in addition to gluten-free and lactose-free options. Its yellow color brings out the energy of the place, the life and love we put into cooking.
Don’t miss the weekly “Mardis Tacos” event. It’s the Mexican fiesta in the village every Tuesday evening from mid-May to mid-October. Super special on trio tacos and tequila!
